Child Pornography Leads To Charges Against Santa Ana Pastor
Child pornography charges have been filed against a Santa Ana pastor. Robert W. Bowman, 62, was a senior pastor at the St. Luke’s Reform Episcopal Church in Santa Ana, and was also the headmaster of the CrossRoad Christian Academy in Gardena, an elementary and middle school that also offers pre-school and Kindergarten classes.Los Angeles police arrested Bowman after searching the man’s home. Police did not say why they obtained a search warrant, but said that they had found child pornography during their search. Prior to his arrest, Bowman had no known arrest record. No charges have been filed yet against Bowman, but the LAPD says it will forward its investigation to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Bowman has already been dismissed from both St. Luke’s Reform Episcopal Church and CrossRoad Christian Academy.
